Piedmont Softball Has Announced Their 2026 Schedule, Which Features The Top High School Fall Tournament In The Nation

Piedmont Softball Announces 2026 Varsity Schedule

The 2026 season for Piedmont Softball officially gets underway August 10, as the Wildcats open play on the road at Muskogee to begin what promises to be a challenging and competitive fall schedule.

Piedmont will once again compete in a tough district that includes Owasso, Union, Jenks, Muskogee, Southmoore, and Putnam City. Those matchups will play a key role in determining postseason positioning as the Wildcats aim to make a deep run in October.

The schedule is highlighted by several high-level tournaments and showcase events. Piedmont will host the NW OKC Festival, bringing top teams into town, while also competing in the Hall of Fame Festival, Choctaw Festival, and the Veteran Bat Tournament.

One of the biggest highlights of the season will come in early September when the Wildcats travel to Nebraska to compete in the NFCA Leadoff Classic—widely regarded as one of the top high school softball tournaments in the country. The event provides a national stage and elite-level competition early in the season.

Outside of district play, the Wildcats will be tested by a strong group of non-district opponents, including Edmond Memorial, Edmond North, Enid, Moore, Guthrie, and Carl Albert. These matchups add another layer of difficulty and preparation as Piedmont builds toward postseason play.

The regular season wraps up in early October before postseason play begins with the Regional Tournament on October 7–8. The State Tournament is scheduled for October 15–17.

With a blend of experienced returners and new talent, the Wildcats will be challenged from the very beginning. The 2026 schedule provides a strong mix of district battles, tournament exposure, and elite competition across the region and beyond.
